Hansen Pole Buildings, LLC is an iconic brand and market leader in the post frame building industry. We are looking for a talented Registered Professional Engineer located in West Fargo, ND. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and strength of our post frame building kits.
Must be able to work in our West Fargo, ND location.

Familiarity with basic construction knowledge and terminology a must.
Expect to update us with regular communication regarding the status of various jobs.
Job Duties Include:
-Reviewing and sealing our drafted custom plans
-Applying principles of engineering to design structures and determine suitable construction methods for our buildings.
-Analyzing components and calculations of post frame buildings to improve design methods
-Calculating the pressure, stresses, and strains that each component, such as beams and columns, will encounter
-Working with our IT staff to improve our custom pricing program
- Sealing plans and letters to communicate to our clients and building departments building requirements
-Assisting our clients in the various challenges it takes to get their building permits across the country.

Qualifications
- Basic knowledge in CAD software to do simple updates and review plans
- Experience in drafting schematics and creating technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology
- Ability to work with 2D animation for visualization purposes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Sketchup and other CAD tools is a plus
Education and Certification Requirements
-Bachelors degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field is essential
-Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
-Ability and desire to add licensure to all states in time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
